A note from Kelli.
When I was a kid, I liked to play “cooking show”.I’d spend hours standing at a tired table in the back treeline with an old pan mixing dirt and water together pretending to be The Urban Peasant (shout out to 1990s Canadian Broadcasting Company programming). With my younger brother as my audience, I would embellish my mud-based dishes with the world around me: rosehips, aspen leaves, wild rose petals.
I created these cocktails initially because I thought, ‘why not do something interesting with the product I already make and enjoy?’ The artistry of being able to make this project into something beautiful has been phenomenally gratifying. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming along on such a happy, creative journey.
